Shah Alam: It was a day of fun and merriment at Wisma CNI where CNI Holdings Berhad through its charity arm, Yayasan CNI hosted a Christmas party for about 100 children from various welfare homes.

The children from Ozanam Klang, Rumah Kebajikan SVP, PJ Agathians Shelter and Pusat Jagaan Anbe Sivam were treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch. Besides that, they were entertained by a magician, children’s martial arts performance, a live rendition of music from the Chinese Orchestra and had a fun-filled day participating in the games and activities organized.

President of Yayasan CNI, Datin Angeline Koh said the event was part of the company’s community outreach programme to bring joy and cheer to the less fortunate.

“We want these children to know that they are not neglected by society and as Malaysians, we value and respect the relationship with our fellow citizens regardless of race or religion.”

Guest-of-honour for the event, Selangor State Senior Executive Councillor for Investment, Industry and Trade, YB Teresa Kok together with CNI’s directors and staff mingled with the children throughout the various activities arranged.
