CNI Accepts Business Ethics Excellence Award 2010/2011

Congratulations to CNI Enterprise for being chosen as the recipient of the Business Ethics Excellence Award (Big Enterprise Category) from the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism on 9 December at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The event is a joint effort of the Ministry, the Companies Commission of Malaysia, the
Business Ethics Institute of Malaysia and the Malaysian Institute of Integrity since 2005 to encourage the corporate and private sectors to create systematic business code of ethics and the internalisation of excellent work ethics in their respective organisations. The award is presented to selected local and multinational companies based on a set of criteria, namely the implementation of values such as honesty, fairness and integrity in relationships with customers, distributors, investors and the community besides embracing an exemplary procedure in fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities (CSR). This year, 41 out of 55 participating companies had been identified to be eligible for the award which is a form of recognition by the Ministry to organisations that champion the cause of good business ethics in their business practices.
